Since it's organization in 1987, following the 100th anniversary celebration of Brighton Area School we have been working to keep alive the spirit of the BHS alumni community.  Contributions by alumni and memorials are the major source of funding which allows us to send out an annual newsletter, have an annual banquet and award scholarships to graduating BHS seniors.  We also fund the 50th Golden anniversary diplomas given to the returning class each year.

Maintain the alumni room with a collection of photos and memorabilia going back to 1890.

Annual Alumni Dinners

• A scholarship program for BHS graduating seniors since 1986. We have awarded over $132,000.00 to date.

• Each year a special diploma is presented to returning 50 year graduates of BHS This is held as part of the BHS graduation alongside the current senior class.

• Maintain a database of all graduated students used for future reunions, thus keeping connected as Brighton graduates.

• Organize and put on a Annual all class reunion

• Maintain an Alumni Room at the High School. It contains memorabilia of Brighton Area School. ( a must see room)

• Build and maintains the "Alumni Wall" in the high school. A collection of photos from 1930's though the present.

• Maintain large display cases at the high school.
